Banksie is an alternative fashion queen from Wigan who made history on RuPaul's Drag Race UK Season 5 as the franchise’s tallest contestant, towering at 6'8" tall (and over seven feet in heels). As a proud member of Manchester's renowned Family Gorgeous, the drag daughter of season 4 runner-up Cheddar Gorgeous, she combines an avant-garde, high-fashion aesthetic inspired by 90s designers like Thierry Mugler and Vivienne Westwood with a distinct, dry Northern humour. Dubbed a seven-foot supermodel, Banksie instantly won over fans and judges alike by winning the unconventional design challenge with a pitch-perfect tribute to David Bowie before exiting the competition in eighth place after a dramatic, memorable run.
